More Info on "Set Me Free"

Wednesday, May 21 2003

I just got some new info from Universal on the song "Set Me Free". It all started when the still unnamed group (consisting of former Guns n' Roses members Slash, Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum and Stone Temple Pilots singer Scott Weiland) were shown an early cut of The Hulk.

They loved the film so much that wanted to be a part of it. The result was "Set Me Free". So it isn't a case of them writing a song and subsequently shopping it around; they wrote this song specially for The Hulk as a result of what they saw. Once they figure out a name for the new band, look for "Set Me Free" to be available online.
